How to Prepare for Your Reading

In the days prior, take a moment to send a thought to your loved ones. They already know the reading is scheduled, but by sending a thought, they’ll now know you’re open to hearing from them!

Make a list of any questions you’d like to ask either them or me. It’ll help to have them if you find they haven’t been answered near the end of the reading.

If you have any questions prior to our meeting, please ask! I’m happy to do anything I can to put you at ease beforehand.

DAY OF –

Arrange to be in a quiet space where you will be alone and distraction/interruption-free. (I specify ‘alone’ because if someone else is in the room or on your phone, their loved ones may come through instead of yours.)

Make sure your internet connection is working and your Zoom app is up-to-date.

If you have a list of questions, double-check you have it with you.

Feeling nervous or excited it completely normal. In fact, it raises the energy, which helps strengthen the connection! That said, take some deep breaths before you sign on.

Expectations:

That Special Someone: It is important not to be fixated upon hearing from just one person as evidence is presented, as I cannot promise who it will be. It may not be the one you want, but it is always the one you need to hear from. Sometimes, beloved pets also make an appearance, which is always a lovely treat.

Often, loved ones do not come alone, so the reading may start off with Spirit Person A and then move to Spirit Person B. This is why having an open mind and an open heart is so important! If you ignore or rush the communication from Spirit Person A because you only want to hear from Spirit Person B, that could lessen the vibration/frequency. If this happens, Spirit Person B most likely won’t have the opportunity to make a connection at all.

As we near the end of a reading, I will ask if there is anyone you would like me to try to reach. I will do my best, but the reasons you may or may not hear from a particular spirit vary. It does not mean they don’t want to talk to you.

That Certain Evidence: Please do not let the outcome of the reading depend upon hearing a specific piece of information to prove it’s really your loved one. Doing so will often cause you to miss many pieces of equally valid evidence and weaken the connection to the spirit world. Again, being open without set expectations allows communication to easily flow. It is my goal to capture your loved one’s essence, their evidence, and their messages so clearly you have no doubt they are still here and very much a part of your life.

My goal is to provide loving reunions between your loved one(s) across the veil and you, my client. There is no greater gift I can give someone than to let them know they are still loved – and still surrounded – by those family members and friends who have passed.

I completely understand and appreciate skepticism, as I felt the same way my first couple of readings. All I ask is you come to your session with a ‘what if’ attitude. What if they really are still here… and let your loved one(s) and I do the rest.

When you receive information and identify who we’re talking to, that’s when the magic begins to happen. Your validation – and your loved one(s) joy at being recognized – strengthen the link and the messages and information easily flow. This is why I offer 45-minute sessions. It's all about the loving reunions to me, and I don’t want to rush them.
